FINALLY I bought the Clarisonic! I am excited. I watched lots of videos on youtube about it and read lots of reviews. Most people swear by it. A minority finds it too hash on their skin.
My skin hasn't been perfect for a while now. I had amazing skin as a teenager up until 22. Then I started having problems. First major deep breakouts on my chin until I stopped taking the Pill and stopped eating this many soy products, then those cysts cleared up. I still get cysts normally one at the time either over or under my lip, on my upper forehead or over my brows. Normally as soon as one disappears another one starts forming and I do know that this is mainly from the inside, it helps if I look at the chinese medicine face map to try to detect which organ may have ill problems causing my skin to inflame, then I take a good supplement or eat the right clean food to support that organ. In general it's mostly either the kidneys, intestines, liver or gallbladder. I don't know if it's an sensitivity to maybe certain types of wines or nuts, Gluten, meat or too much coffee (I rarely have milk products other than a tiny bit of cheese) but I am trying to find out. I just know that if I am eating clean mainly fruit, veg and alkaline grains. I don't get it... Too much fat may trigger some, or sugar... I will let you know once I found out ;-)
Anyways, in addition to that I do have a skin surface problem. I have little bumps which they are everywhere when you look close - not great.
I hoped the Clarisonic will be my wholly grail and help my skin get rid of it...
I have to say since I bought it I actually use it most days twice a day only on my forehead, chin and nose though (most people only use it once a day) but I absolutely LOVE it... I don't have dry bits anymore, as it exfoliates gently, my skin texture is great. I really need it.
Now, to the little surface blocked pores- pimples, there it has to be some bacteria overgrowth, so I went to Zest pharmacy and got myself the Eucerin Dermo PurifyingConcentrate. It's a cheap line but very very promising. I shopped around the little pharmacy (I love that Soho pharmacy by the way, the pharmacist knows all his products, he only stocks what he knows works... has dr Vogel products which are the best too etc..the guy is great) So, I am trying the eucerin concentrate which is supposed to fight the bacteria and clean the pores and protect the skin from further blemishes.. it just all sounded perfect for me, read it yourself! I haven't found another product sounding so exactly like what I need. Turns out, I love the product so far.
I have started using it 2 days ago and has it has done some good to my skin healing already. Some of my blemishes vanished quite well already. But I have to use it for longer to say more about it and that little hard surface acne is obviously still there but I believe this product will totally help it disappear!! In the past I either went to hash or used products not specially designed for what I need. I need antibacterial but not too harsh.
What I love in those products is that they don't seem to have any crazy hash ingredients, there dermatologically tested, no salicylic acid or other...
In order to make sure and speed the process up so I ordered 3 more products of the line at boots, they have a 3 for 2 offer for it too which is amazing.
I ordered the DayCare it's the moisturiser to go over the serum for the day, the night care which works even harder though the night and the concealer stick.
I will let you know how it goes, can't wait to pick it all up at boots on Monday ;-)
